Teaching Philosophy
I believe in the authenticity, creativity, and potential of a young intellect. One should never underestimate the power of a fertile and willing mind. I am blessed to have worked with these gifted scholars for 37 years in both a public and private setting.
I combine my methodology with knowledge, a growth mindset, and enthusiasm for learning. My approach centers on building genuine relationships and developing executive functioning habits that support students in reaching their next level in life. I believe that every student can develop and grow into their full potential, and I provide learning opportunities that help unearth a student's latent qualities so they can be nurtured and developed.
I specialize in one-on-one sessions tailored to each student's unique learning style, current challenges, and educational goals. Whether a student needs support in a specific discipline, preparation for a major exam (SAT/ACT), or even support with college admissions, I will meet you there.

From kindergarten through college — one-on-one support across every stage of the journey.
Sessions are also informed by school and standardized assessment data — including MAP, STAAR, PSAT, and SAT results — to target exactly where each student needs support.
